Joint Operational Programme BLACK SEA BASIN 2014-2020

The Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 is part of European Union’s Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) under its European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI).

ENI CBC receives funding from ENI as well as from the European Regional Development Fund and the Instrument for Pre-Accession which is pooled together. All sources of funding may be used on either side of the EU external border for actions of common benefit.

ONAFT participates in 2 projects of the Joint Operational Program BLACK SEA BASIN. 2014-2020.

«Promoting the Black Sea Region as a Wine Tourism Destination – The Sea Of Wine» Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 adopted by the European Commission, BSB 1034 International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education Foundation (ICARE), Yerevan, Armenia, Georgian Center for Agribusiness Development (GCAD), Tbilisi, Georgia,- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Thessaloniki, Greece, Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. Sea Of Wine project aims to position and promote the Black Sea region as an important wine tourism destination, and help wine tourism stakeholders develop common approaches for promotion of their travel products.
Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 BSB 1101 Local Development and Cross Border Cooperation in the area of Agricultural Products and Traditional Food Coordinator: Ministry of Interior (Sector Macedonia and Thrace), Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Dunărea de Jos University, Association of Tourism Development in Moldova, Varna University of Management, Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. Creation of tools for local producers to help themselves to become more competitive by occupying a niche and develop a brand new concept of traditional/slow food products and prepare the grounds for labelling of products based on best EU practices and procedures.  The promotes sustainable development and supports the indigenous people to remain in their regions in order to produce their traditional products in a more sustainable way and to have the possibilities to present them to a wider market, not only at local or national level.
