This semester, we, the students of the Master’s degree program in Wine Technology and Sensory Analysis, studied under the Erasmus+ program at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) in Jelgava, Latvia.
It was an incredible experience – a new country, new people, traveling and learning that was truly inspiring.
In pairs with Beverages Technology, we studied beverage production technologies: conducted tastings, laboratory analyses, went on excursions and even brewed beer. In Ethnic Cuisine, we prepared dishes from different countries of the world. And in Food Design, we worked on creating an innovative product and learned to combine creativity with food technologies.
In addition to studying, we traveled a lot around the Baltic countries, discovering new cities, cultures and people.
Erasmus is not only about university. It is about experiences that change you, give you memories for a lifetime and people you will never forget!
