Competition for study scholarship (academic academic mobility) at the University of Padua (Italy) within the Erasmus +

To the attention of 4 years students who’s education degree “Bachelor” in the specialties “Food Technologies” (educational programs: “Technologies of fermentation and winemaking”, “Restaurant business technologies”, “Restaurant technologies of healthy food”) and “Hotel and restaurant business”

Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies is a partner of the Erasmus + CA1 – International Credit Mobility program project with the University of Padova (Padova, Italy), funded by the European Union and the Erasmus + Agency in Italy.

According to the conditions of the project, students of 4 courses (bachelors) of specialties “Food Technologies” (educational programs: “Technologies of fermentation and winemaking”, “Restaurant business technologies”, “Restaurant technologies of healthy food”) and “Hotel and restaurant business” have an opportunity to pass studying at the University of Padua during 9 months in 2018/2019 n. p.
The selection of candidates is conducted in accordance with:
– Regulation on the procedure for the implementation of the right to academic mobility by participants in the educational process of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies (Order ONACHT dated November 14, 2017, No. 342-01)

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
– to be a student of ONACHT of educational degree “Master” (at the moment of departure) in the above specialties;
– to speak English at least B2.
The winners of the competition will be paid a monthly scholarship and will reimburse the travel costs for the project.
In order to obtain an individual grant, by April 2, 2018 (incl.) It is necessary to submit the following documents to the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility of the ONACh CMS (auditorium A-130, Mariya Nikolaevna): ENGLISH LANGUAGE:
● Application Form (Student Application Form) (Sample 1);
● SV (Europass format);
● a photocopy of a foreign passport;
● a statement of assessments and credits from each subject (Transcript of Records), certified by the Dean’s Office and the Department of International Affairs and Academic Mobility (Sample 2).
● Certificate of proof of English proficiency not lower than B2 (preference will be given to official certificates such as FCE, TOEFL, IELTS).
● Motivation letter (maximum size – 1 page for A4 format)

All documents must be:
– submit in paper form to the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility of the ONACh CMS (auditorium A-130, Maria Nikolaevna);
– to send (scanned copies according to the order of requirements one file in PDF format) to the electronic mail: inter@ontu.edu.ua
Any documents sent after the specified deadline will not be accepted.

* Please note that each participant will cover the cost of insurance and the costs associated with obtaining a residence permit in the host country during mobility. The selection of students nominated for participation in the mobility program will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the University of Padua by the ONACT Competition Commission on the following criteria:
1. CV, experience in previous academic mobility – 10 points
2. Successful training – 40 points
3. Motivational letter – 15 points
4. Letter of recommendation and social (scientific) activity – 10 points
5. Level of knowledge of a foreign language – 25 points

WARNING! The main criterion is academic achievement. However, with equivalent academic achievements, preference will be given to candidates with less prosperous socio-economic conditions.

Entry Procedure. The Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility of the CMS ONACT informs the participants about the results of the competition. Preference will be given to students who have not yet taken part in the Erasmus + mobility program.
Based on the selection criteria (for each individual point of the criteria the participant gets points), a rating list of the strongest candidates is created in descending order, which allows to subsequently form the list of nominees for participation in the mobility program and the reserve list.
